The armed men reportedly stormed the school while students were sitting for the WAEC examination.
The Vice Principal, Mr. Gani Anifowose, was killed during the attack.

Some students and residents were taken away by the attackers.
Residents said the gunmen arrived in large numbers and created panic in the community.
Many people ran into nearby bushes for safety as the attackers operated for several minutes before escaping.
Local authorities strongly condemned the attack and described it as cruel and unacceptable.

The police confirmed three deaths and said investigations are ongoing.
They also noted that there is still no confirmed evidence of a mass student abduction, but operations are continuing to clarify what happened during the attack.
