Former Nigerian Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke has been cleared of all six bribery charges by a London court.
A jury at Southwark Crown Court said she was not guilty after a long trial that lasted several months and over 46 hours of final review.

She was accused of taking bribes from oil companies while serving as minister between 2010 and 2015, but she denied all the allegations.
Her lawyers said she never took bribes and had no direct control over contract awards, adding that the money used in evidence was legal spending.
Two other defendants, including an oil executive and her brother, were also cleared of all charges.
Her legal team said she is relieved after more than 11 years of investigations and legal battles and can now rebuild her life and reputation.
British prosecutors have not yet commented on the court’s decision.
