Comrade Odion Musa, a member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council and a sports anchor with Liberty TV, delivered an impressive performance at the Nigeria Athletics Masters Championship held in Abuja.
He won a gold medal and a bronze medal at the event.

Musa competed against athletes from various organisations, including the Nigeria Army, Navy, Air Force, Immigration, and media houses. He took first place in the 110 metres hurdles in the M35 category.
He also played a key role in his team’s success in the 4 × 100 metres relay, where they finished third to win a bronze medal.
Beyond athletics, Musa is active in several sports. He captains the NUJ football team, plays table tennis, and is a committed member of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN).
He is also known for promoting integrity in sports and currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Sports Integrity Foundation.
The championship featured former Nigerian champions such as Mike Monye, as well as international athletes from Poland and other experienced competitors.
