Human rights lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, has asked the Federal Government to take legal action against South Africa over alleged killings and attacks on Nigerians.
Falana urged Nigeria to file a case against South Africa at the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights.
He said Nigeria and South Africa are both parties to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights and have accepted the rules establishing the African Court.
Falana had earlier called for action over alleged xenophobic attacks against Nigerians and other Africans in South Africa.
