Adeleke Says Tinubu Called to Congratulate Him

Governor Ademola Adeleke has revealed that President Bola Tinubu called him to congratulate him shortly after his victory in the Osun governorship election.

Adeleke disclosed this after INEC declared him the winner of Saturday’s election.

The governor won with 511,067 votes, defeating APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, who scored 444,815 votes.

ADC candidate Najeem Salaam came third with 17,180 votes.

Adeleke contested the election under the Accord Party and secured victory in 19 of Osun’s 30 local government areas.
