Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham is set to return to cinemas with a new movie titled BESTIE.
The film is scheduled to be released nationwide on December 16, 2026.
The new project comes after the success of her previous cinema film, Oversabi Aunty, which reportedly earned more than ₦1 billion at the Nigerian box office.
Abraham had earlier hinted that she was working on another major cinema project for the December festive season.
She also announced that Alábọ̀sí 2 would be her final YouTube movie for 2026 before returning to the big screen.
December is one of the busiest periods for Nigerian cinemas, with many filmmakers releasing major movies to attract audiences during the festive season.
Abraham is known for releasing popular films during this period and has become one of Nigeria’s leading filmmakers and box-office stars.
Details about the cast and story of BESTIE have not yet been fully released.However, expectations are already growing among her fans as they wait for the film’s release in December.
