Gunmen have kidnapped the wife and twin children of the wife of the younger brother of former Power Minister and APC governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Bayo Adelabu.
The incident happened on Wednesday in the Challenge area of Ibadan, the state capital.

A family source said the victims were attacked while leaving their home in Elewura, Challenge, and were taken away by armed men as they tried to join the main road.
A spokesperson for Adelabu confirmed the incident, saying the woman and her twin children, Peter and Paul, were abducted by unknown gunmen.
The case is the latest in a series of kidnappings in Oyo State.
In May, over 40 teachers and students were abducted during an attack in the Oriire area, while an APC leader was also kidnapped in Ibadan in December 2025.
Police say they are still trying to verify details of the latest incident.
