Veteran Nigerian musician Daddy Showkey has revealed that he discovered his talent as a solo singer after returning to work in a garage following the breakup of his music group, Pretty Busy Boys.
Speaking about his journey to success, the galala music star said he was unsure of what to do after the group split.
He even considered joining the Nigerian Army but changed his mind because the training was too demanding.
“I went back to Lagos and returned to the garage. It was there that I discovered I had the talent to become a singer,” he said.
Daddy Showkey also said success is not meant for only a few people, stressing that everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
“God does not choose only one person to succeed. God wants to bless everyone,” he said.
He encouraged people to keep working hard and believe in their abilities, saying success can come from unexpected places.
