Tinubu Hosts Madagascar’s President at Aso Villa

President Bola Tinubu on Monday received Madagascar’s President, Michael Randrianirina, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja as both countries seek to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties.

President Randrianirina arrived at the State House around 2:57 p.m. for an official visit and was welcomed by Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu.

After a brief reception ceremony, the Madagascan leader was escorted to President Tinubu’s office for a meeting.

The visit is aimed at deepening cooperation between Nigeria and Madagascar and improving relations between the two African nations.

Discussions are expected to focus on areas of mutual interest, including regional development, economic growth, and greater collaboration within Africa.

Both countries have continued to pursue stronger partnerships to promote development, trade, and continental integration.
