ADC vice-presidential candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, has asked Nigerians not to vote for the party in the 2027 general election if it fails to perform.
Amaechi spoke at the Nigerian Bar Association’s 2026 Annual General Conference in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
He said Nigerians should choose leaders based on their ability, performance and track record.He urged voters to avoid choosing candidates because of ethnicity, tribe or place of origin.
According to him, political leaders should be judged by what they have achieved while in office.
Amaechi also said it would be difficult for opposition parties to form a united coalition because many politicians have presidential ambitions and are unwilling to step down for others.
The former Rivers State governor defended his record in public office, saying the projects carried out during his administration are still visible in the state.
