One Dead, Three Injured as Lexus Crashes on Lagos Coastal Road

One person has died and three others were seriously injured after a Lexus Jeep crashed along the Coastal Road towards Eko Hotel in Lagos.

The grey Lexus 350, with registration number LSD 554 KV, reportedly lost control, hit a roadside pole and overturned.

Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) quickly arrived at the scene and secured the road.

With help from Good Samaritans, the three injured victims were removed from the wreckage and taken to Duck-Yard Hospital within the Military Zone for treatment.

LASTMA officials later cleared the damaged vehicle from the road to prevent another accident and restore traffic.

The agency’s General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, expressed sympathy to the family of the deceased and advised motorists to drive carefully.
