Makinde’s Campaign Says He Will Defeat Tinubu in 12 States

The campaign organisation of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has said he will defeat President Bola Tinubu in 12 states in the January 2027 presidential election.

The organisation, which is campaigning for Makinde under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), said Nigerians were unhappy with Tinubu’s policies because of the economic hardship facing the country.

It listed Oyo, Kaduna, Rivers, Plateau, Borno, Enugu, Bauchi, Sokoto, Delta, Kano, Adamawa and Lagos as key states where Makinde could defeat Tinubu.

The campaign also urged Tinubu to travel by road across the country to see the poor condition of federal roads and the hardship facing Nigerians.

It said Makinde’s proposed RESET NIGERIA agenda would focus on improving education, the economy, security and governance.
