Regina Daniels Turns 25 in Wheelchair, Opens Up About Months of Severe Pain

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about months of severe pain and difficulties with walking, revealing that her health condition has sometimes left her unable to move without assistance.

The actress shared the experience in a video posted on her Instagram page on Saturday as she marked her 25th birthday.

She also used the video to explain her recent absence from social media.

Daniels, who has two children, said what initially appeared to be a minor health problem gradually became more serious, affecting her ability to move around freely.

She explained that her condition worsened after she hosted a Children’s Day carnival, after which she underwent several medical tests as she tried to understand what was happening.

“For several months now, I have lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, very minor, but eventually led to this,” she said.

The actress described the pain as severe, adding that there were times when she could walk and other times when she was unable to move.

She said the experience had been emotionally difficult.

Despite the challenges, Daniels expressed gratitude for what she described as significant progress in her recovery.

She said recent developments had encouraged her to speak publicly about her health.

The actress also spoke about the emotional strain of depending on other people for everyday activities and said her faith in God had helped her cope with the situation.

She disclosed that she had moved closer to her loved ones, particularly her children, whom she described as very important to her.
