Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Anambra State governor Peter Obi have congratulated Ademola Adeleke on his re-election as Osun State governor.
The two opposition leaders shared separate messages on X after INEC declared Adeleke the winner of Saturday’s governorship election.
Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to defeat APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, who scored 444,815 votes.
He won 19 of the state’s 30 local government areas, while Oyebamiji secured 11.
The election attracted 15 candidates and ended after months of campaigning across the state.
