Super Eagles to Start AFCON 2027 Qualifiers Against Madagascar

Nigeria’s Nigeria national football team will begin their campaign for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations with a match against Madagascar national football team.

The team, coached by Éric Chelle, will host Madagascar at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on September 26, 2026.

Three days later, the Super Eagles will travel to play against Guinea-Bissau national football team in their second group match.

Nigeria will then face co-hosts Tanzania national football team in back-to-back matches.

The first game will be in Dar es Salaam, while the return match will be played in Uyo on November 11.

The Super Eagles will finish their qualification campaign in March 2027 with matches against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau.
